Persephone Bayley

Persephone is a theatre-maker and circus artist. Her company, Feral Theatre, specialises in creating theatre in uncoventional places. Feral shows incorporate puppetry, improvisation, storytelling and music. Persephone has also worked with the Insect Circus since 2004.

Projects for 2009 include Feral Technology, a shadow puppetry collaboration with a sonic artist; and Tree Story, an aerial theatre piece about trees and the tree protests of the 1990s. Persephone and Feral artists run outdoor workshops for children. Persephone is an experienced Drama teacher.
