KT Simpson

Kt has been working professionally for 20yrs, her background is dance, but she rebelled from formal training, instead choosing to studied different dance forms from around the world. Kt studied circus skills at Fooltime circus school, and then travelled for 12yrs working in big and small circus theatre shows across Europe, learning skills in acro-balance, flying trapeze, static trapeze, web and silk. Her artistic practice has been exploring the relationship between audience and performer and she has been developing ways to challenge the audience's perception of how to view performance. Kt is sourcing funding for her own Immersive Theatre Company the Copperdollar at present, and as Creative director is looking to place her work in galleries, tents and more unusual venues around the world.
